General/Lent notices for next week

Monday 16th March       Praying Through Easter begins. We currently have 475 children booked in for 18 sessions, running over three weeks until the end of term. It is a real privilege to be able to talk about prayer, against the backdrop of Easter, to so many children and their accompanying adults and give them all the opportunity to respond and try different ways of praying. Almost all participants are people with whom we would have no Sunday contact. It is a huge piece of work with many volunteers. Please pray that each adult or child who attends will have a special ‘God moment’ while they are with us, as well as for the smooth running of a complex event. 

Monday 16th March      7.30-9pm at the Vicarage*  Parish Fellowship and Study Group. Week 2God the Father of Jesus.

Wednesday 18th March    12 noon    Simply Lent    at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Broadbottom, bring lunch.

Saturday 21st March    10-12 noon  Breathing Space    the topic this time will be ‘Jesus, Saviour of the World’,  fitting for Lent.
