Prayer focus w/c 23rd Feb

This week sees the beginning of Lent, a season of prayer and reflection. What will you do this Lent that helps you focus on your relationship with Jesus? It doesn’t have to be anything earth-shattering, just an acknowledgment that you are prepared to spend more time focused on Jesus. There are lots of organised sessions and suggestions to help you do this, in the local churches and on-line. Pray that God will show you something that will draw you closer to Him, and ask for help to keep up that extra commitment.  A simple chorus helped me this week “Lord fill me with your heart, lead me in love to those around me.” Ask God to draw you closer to Him.
