Kimbilio’s 10th anniversary celebrations

As part of Kimbilio’s 10th anniversary celebrations we’re thrilled to be building a Kimbilio primary school!

Kimbilio’s primary school is going to be built on the outskirts of the city, at the Maison Kimbilio site, where there are few schools and many children are not in any form of education. We’re delighted to be expanding our ways of empowering and enabling young people in D.R.Congo

Nearly 7million children between the ages of 5 and 17 are out of school in the D.R.C. (UNICEF)

60% match funding for the school building is available NOW (while funds last), from Global Giving via the link below, on gifts up to £40.

Could you please help us to achieve our vision of providing good quality education to former street children and children whose families could never afford the school fees?  The Kimbilio children are currently walking 4 kilometres to school each day.  Our new school will be on the door step and we will be able to ensure an excellent quality of education is provided. We’re so excited to share with you the design for the new school building.

Thanks so much for all your amazing support over the years which has helped us achieve so much!
