Messy Church Update

A huge THANK YOU, to everyone who helped to plan, prepare materials, organise crafts, sort out worship, donating money, praying, prepare food or help on the day.  Thanks to Nikki for the wool spinning demonstration, which both adults and children enjoyed. Children particularly enjoyed creating the wall of a sheep fold (from your donated boxes) and also destroying the wall at the end of the worship session (A good example of recycling – as they crushed the boxes at the end and put them in the brown bin!).

I’m sure the message of “Jesus – the Good Shepherd” came across as we wondered. from the pasture, to the river and into the Sheep fold.

Messy Church has proved to be a great opportunity for us to  be involved with  people in the community outside of our Sunday Services.

Our next session is March 2nd and the focus is God the Creator. If you haven’t been involved before and think you could help in some way please speak to Anne and John Roberts, Jenny Ehlinger or Felicity. Further details to follow. Anne Roberts.
