Prayer focus – w/c 2nd June

This week sees the start of the national church initiative “Thy Kingdom Come”. This stretches from Ascension Day 30th May to Pentecost, 9th June. As a church we are praying that we might deepen our relationship with Jesus, that Jesus will work in the lives of those we know and recognise that all areas of our lives are areas for prayer. As individuals we can “Pledge to Pray” – praying specifically for 5 people we know that at least 1 might become a follower or Jesus. Father we pray that you would open our hearts and minds to read your word and draw closer to you. Father show us more of yourself, draw us close and open the mind of those for whom we pray.
