Treasurer for Glossop foodbank

Due to the impending re-location of the current incumbent, Glossopdale Foodbank is seeking a volunteer to fill the position of Treasurer on the Foodbank Trustee Committee.

Glossopdale Foodbank provides food for residents of the Glossopdale Valley who experience severe financial crisis. Last year we provided food to cover over 16,000 meals for a total of 1700 people, of whom nearly 600 were children. Glossopdale Foodbank is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) which is a legal form of organisation which enables it to be both a registered charity and a registered company.

Currently the Foodbank is in a stable financial position; it does not benefit from any grant aid but does benefit from enormous community support in the provision of donations of food and finance.
