Prayer focus w/c 5th January

Humble yourselves, before Almighty God, and He will lift you up. Psalm 93 reminds us “Oh Lord you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise, you perceive my thoughts from afar.”  The psalmist goes one to ask “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I go from your presence?”

We are reminded there is no place we can be, physically, mentally or emotionally where God’s hand will not hold us. Christmas and New Year are often difficult times for us for sooooo many reasons. Thank You Father for the promise that  “your right hand will hold us fast.”

Bring yourself, or those you know that need holding fast, before God.  Amen.
